Polis Chrysochous​
Polis the principal town for the region is approximately 10 kilometres away.
This traditional town, huddled around a pedestrianised square is a great place to browse the many shops, enjoy a coffee watching the world pass by or dine at any of the wide selection of restaurants, tavernas and cafes which radiate out from the centre.
The seaside resort of Latchi, with its well known sea food tavernas is only a few minutes drive from Polis, and here you will find an array of inviting sea-front tavernas with a superb selection of fresh fish and seafood served daily.
Beyond Latchi you will find the well known 'Baths of Aphrodite' and for the more adventurous explorer the protected Akamas Peninsular with its many walking trails.
Polis and its neighbouring villages count bowling, go-karting, fishing, cycling, watersports and scuba diving amongst the many activities on offer to visitors.

Droushia Village
30 kilometers north of Paphos town Laona plateau at an altitude of 630 meters lies the picturesque village of Droushia. According to researchers the village existed since ancient times and even lived in Arcadia and the village's name came from the ancient Greek word Ydrousa [rich in water].
It is one of the first villages renovated keeping the traditional architecture and the landscaping of the village and surrounding area attracts many tourists, locals and foreigners.
In the village there are hotels, hostels, apartments, restaurants, nightclubs and other care services for visitors.
The old village is built around the church of St. Epiphanius [1754] and almost all the houses are over one hundred years. Progress has extended the village but retained its character and pattern of the villages and other villages of Cyprus.
The Droushia flourished in the medieval times as the land belonged to the kings and even Louizinianous fort there.
This is confirmed from the top of the village called Vlampouro [war flag].
The area flourished rich monastery of St George predate the medieval times and was destroyed by the Turks in 1821.
On English was the administrative center of the area with police, Forestry, quarantine, etc. that keeps them up today. Certainly it is very worthwhile to stay a village or even a visit to experience the beauty, its rich preserved local architecture and the remarkable museum psathoplektikis
